Build An Ion Activity

  1. Click "Atom"
  2. In the "Show" box mark sure that "Element" and "Neutral/Ion" is checked.
  3. Add protons to the atom to build the desired element
  4. Click the green "+" next to "Net Charge", it will show you the charge of the atom
  5. Add electrons to make the atom neutral.
  6. Now add or subtract electrons to make the correct ion.
  7. Look at the "Net Charge" to see what the charge of the ion is
